I know we should always appreciate all the teachers we have had in our lives both in school, in camp, in sports and at work as mentors. Now that my daughter is officially a teacher, it takes on an even stronger feeling for me and appreciation of how hard they work, how much they do for the school, all the time they put in at home and for the students. It takes a certain kind of patient and understanding person to be a teacher. In honor of my daughter and teachers all around I want everyone to take the time to thank their teachers. A small gift, candy or chocolate is a great way to show them you care.

Time to get outdoors and have some fun
Campfire ideas-The weather is getting warmer but there is still some chill in the air. Let’s keep warm by starting a campfire. Good ideas are bug spray items, first aid kits, blankets, chairs, sleeping bags , cooking utensils and binoculars. And of course lets not forget the portable speakers.
BBQs are my favorite at any time of year but this is certainly the time when people start coming out of their homes and cooking and entertaining outdoors. ASI Trade Show NYC
ASI, what we can we say about this organization. You want to love them. You sign up and become a member but does it really help? And how much help do we get for what we pay? This week I attended the their show at the Javits Center. Smaller than usual. I didn’ get to see as many companies as I had hoped, but of course there is always value in attending a show where you can touch and feel new products, get friendlier with your sales reps and just have a good time. I was very surprised when a client of mine called and mentioned that ASI was on the news. Channel 11 to be exact. I didn’t happen to see that program but I did hear about the products that were shown and I did get my client’s opinions on some of the items. One of them in fact, the bluetooth flexible keyboard is an item they have been thinking about since I had shown it to them as well as some of the other items. Congratulations ASI for doing something right!

Tonight, Saturday March 19 the moon will appear the largest it has since March 8, 1993. It only happens every 18 years. This appearance is because the moon is at its closest point to the Earth. Sometimes the moon when it appears this large is known as or called “super moons”.
