July, the hottest month of the year

Turbo Mini Fan / FlashlightGenerally, the hottest month of the year is that in which follows the summer solstice, that is, July. During the summer solstice, which falls around the date of June 21, the northern hemisphere gets exposure to the sun in a more direct manner, with the sun being positioned directly above at 12 PM for a particular point situated on the Tropic of Cancer . As a result, the days are the longest on this date, and obviously the quantity of energy which they receive on this day is the most, same for the days following this day till the summer is over.

However, in the southern hemisphere, in countries mostly like India, June is considered as the start of the monsoon that is, the rainy season as a result of winds carrying moisture.

July also has the longest days.
